THE UNDESERVING FALL OF DEAN AMBROSE

Dean Ambrose had a fantastic 2014. He feuded with Evolution, headlined three Pay-Per-Views (PPV), and thanks to his lunatic persona, became one of the most beloved faces in the WWE. The problem with Ambrose is that he is so over with the crowd he is able to brush off losses better than any other superstar. Something WWE Creative has been making the most throughout his entire singles career.
However, just a couple of months ago Ambrose looked certain to get back on track and become the new Intercontinental Champion. As we know, things in professional wrestling can change very quickly and ultimately, Ambrose was unsuccessful. What's worse is that Ambrose has now dropped out of the title picture, and his position on the card is as low as it has been for some time.
Now as we head into Extreme Rules, Ambrose looks set to go head-to-head with Luke Harper. These two are fantastic workers and I have no doubt in my mind that given a decent amount of time, they will put on a great match. However, what's crucial is the booking, as both men have undeservedly been dropping down the card.
This match, and possible rivalry, needs to be booked perfectly. Ambrose has to come out on top, which is more than deserved as he has not won a rivalry as a singles competitor. And although Harper may lose, he needs to come out looking like the monster that he is. However, I can't help but feel that both of these men deserve more, especially Ambrose. A superstar who has proven on multiple occasions that he is more than capable of headlining PPV's.
Hopefully WWE Creative will see the error of their ways and in 2015 will book Ambrose the way he deserves.
