Roman Reigns has done everything in his power to prove he is worthy of the main event at Wrestlemania. Since winning the Royal Rumble, Reigns has shown great improvement on the mic, but his ability as a singles competitor has left many people, myself included, wanting more. This past month, everything has been building to his match at Fastlane, against Daniel Bryan. It was his defining moment to prove to the world that he is ready for the grandest stage of them all, and he did not disappoint.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Reigns' match with Daniel Bryan was the best singles bout of his career. It was an instant classic. Both men were fantastic, and Bryan's submission style worked perfectly with Reign's power and explosiveness. The match showcased Bryan's knowledge of submission wrestling, and portrayed Reigns as a juggernaut who used his strength, speed and power to overcome his opponent's superior mat skills. The biggest question to come out of this match is whether Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar can put on a match to a similar standard?

Daniel Bryan is a work horse and an in-ring technician. He could have a good match with a broom. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, not so much. They are two phenomenal athletes, but neither would be considered a work horse, and this where I hold my doubts. There styles are both very similar and the way they approach the match will be crucial to its success. A traditional approach will not work. Their match needs to be a brawl. It needs to start quickly and be filled with high-power manoeuvres and plenty of near falls. This will not only demonstrate how strong both men are, but it will show the mammoth effort that is required to go toe-to-toe with The Beast.

Roman Reigns' victory over Daniel Bryan has launched him into Wrestlemania at his peak. When a performance on the biggest stage of his career, so far, was required, he delivered. Now the stage gets bigger, he has to step once again, and I think he will flourish. Believe that!
